Using this website

This site is provided by the Houston Polish Festival for information about the festival. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Accuracy of information

We work hard to keep times, prices, menus and performers accurate, but a festival is a live event run by volunteers. Schedules move, performers cancel, and dishes sell out. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that a particular performance, dish or activity will take place, and we may change any of it without notice.

Where a detail matters to your plans, email info@houstonpolishfestival.com and we will confirm it.

Tickets, admission and parking

  • Admission to the festival grounds is free. Food, drink and games are paid for with tickets bought on site.
  • Food and drink tickets are non-refundable and have no cash value. They are valid only at the festival for which they were bought.
  • Offsite parking is free, with a shuttle running co 15 minut. Parking on the church grounds is $20.00, paid at the gate. Both are offered on a first-come basis, and paying does not guarantee a space once the lot is full.
  • The festival takes place largely outdoors and runs in most weather. If severe weather forces us to close early, ticket strips remain valid but are not refunded in cash.

Conduct on site

The festival is held on the grounds of Kościół Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej, a place of worship, and is a family event. We ask everyone to behave accordingly. We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, anyone who is behaving unsafely, aggressively or in a way that spoils the day for other people, without refund.

Children

Children are very welcome and must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times. We are not able to supervise children.

Photography and filming

By entering the festival you accept that you may be photographed or filmed, and that those images may be used by the festival to promote future events, including on this website and on social media. If you would rather a specific image were not used, contact us and we will remove it. See our Privacy Policy for more.

Vendors and sponsors

Vendor booths and sponsorships are governed by the separate written agreement issued when your application is accepted. Where that agreement and these terms conflict, the agreement takes precedence.

Liability

You attend the festival at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, the festival, its organisers, volunteers and Kościół Matki Boskiej Częstochowskiej are not liable for loss, damage to property, or personal injury arising from your attendance, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Links to other sites

We link to maps, social media and vendor websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, logos and design of this site belong to the Houston Polish Festival or are used with permission. Please do not republish them commercially without asking first. You are very welcome to share links, and to post your own photographs of the festival.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of Harris County, Texas.
